He has also been sworn in front of the Supreme Court. Bret enjoys participating in all sorts of outdoor sporting activities, including skiing, running, biking, and swimming. He finished his 3L year at the University of Houston Law Center in May of 2010 where served as the Publications Editor for the Houston Journal of International Law and President of the student chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society. He became an Associate with the firm in November upon passing the Texas Bar Exam and obtaining his license to practice in The State of Texas. Joe has also been an active participant in student chapters of the Federalist Society as their Director of External Affairs, and the Hispanic Law Students Association. Having lived in Córdoba, La Rioja, and Villa Dolores, Argentina, as well as in Mexico City D.F. while serving as a law clerk for the Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores (SRE), Joe is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Portuguese. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law where she was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity and served as the historian for the International Law Society. Mariana became an attorney with the firm in November upon passing the Texas Bar Exam and obtaining her license to practice in The State of Texas. Mariana was born and spent more than half of her life in Mexico City, where she attended a bilingual school. She then moved to The Woodlands where she lived while attending St. Pius X High School and The University of St. Thomas in Houston.
